I want to dedicate this post to the most recent work I'm doing. As I always say, I have so many illustrations completed long ago to show you. I don't draw comics often, so today I prefer to talk about this !!
I received a
commission about a gore comic (castration in particular)
entitled "Ancient masscastration".
The short story is set outside the walls of an ancient city in the desert. A lot of men are tied to a fence and are tortured by some "Gelders" made up of men, women ... and..me! Yes, the
commissioner wanted my presence in the story, and I liked this idea so much !. The only drawback is that I had to take some pictures to make the likeness of my face, especially in close-ups, this is annoying, but it's worth it.
Today I will show only some panels in pencil. The first phase is complete, now next step is to ink, fix in pshop (the longest part!) And color.
It's an commission very complicated than previous comics. Here is a city in background, and especially there is so many people and perpetually naked..is an continuous anatomy challenge .
In these pages the photo references were minimal:
- My face in close-ups
- Hands wielding knives (I confess to being a goat in the hands wielding weapons),
- Some shot to the buttocks (top view).
I struggled a lot because I tried to don't use so much photo references, except in extreme cases (like being hours and hours on the sheet and erase dozens of times). As I always say, there's no harm in using photo references, but more time passes, more I feel that research makes me waste time. Furthermore, the photographs have a yield different because they are real, then on paper you still have to give a slightly different interpretation, fix some distortions present in reality, dates from prospects or camera lenses. I seem to have more confusion. These rules apply to full figures, not so much for the faces, hands or individual parts.
For example 90% of the buttocks present in this comic are drawn by mind, and i confess that i prefer that there is some anatomical imperfection references that hundreds of photo references and a lot more effort behind. It 'a contradiction. because in porn the anatomy is everything, and everyone always advised me many photo references, important for this kind of comic.
This new comic made me think a lot about what i get from my style, but i'm still in total confusion !!. Perhaps the presence of a few sex scenes gave me the opportunity to do various tests, as the complicated part of porn is just making bodies realistic, soft all over.

Voglio dedicare il post al lavoro più recente che sto facendo. Come dico sempre, ho tante illustrazioni completate tempo fa da mostrarv. Visto che non mi capita spesso di disegnare fumetti, oggi preferisco parlare di questo!!
Ho ricevuto una
commissione riguardo un fumetto gore (castrazione in particolare)
intitolato "Ancient masscastration".
La breve storia è ambientata fuori dalle mura di un'antica città nel deserto. Una serie di uomini sono legati a una staccionata e vengono torturati dai cosiddetti "gelders" ossia "castratori", costituiti da uomini, donne...e..me! Si,
il committente ha voluto la mia presenza nella storia, e questa idea mi è piaciuta tanto!. L'unico inconveniente è che ho dovuto fare qualche foto per rendere la somiglianza del mio volto, soprattutto nei primi piani, questo è scocciante ma ne vale la pena.
Oggi vi mostrerò soltanto qualche vignetta a matita. La prima fase è completa, ora passo allo step ink, correzione a pshop (la parte più lunga!) e colore.
E' una commissione molto complicata rispetto ai precedenti fumetti. Qui c'è una città di sfondo, e soprattutto tante persone e perennemente nude..è una continua sfida di anatomia.
In queste pagine i riferimenti fotografici sono stati minimi:
- il mio volto nei primi piani
- le mani che maneggiano i coltelli (confesso di essere una capra nelle mani che impugnano armi),
- qualche inquadratura per le natiche (visuale dall'alto).
Ho faticato molto perchè mi sono sforzata a non cercare o guardare fotografie, se non in casi estremi (come stare un'ora sul foglio e cancellare decine di volte). Come dico sempre, non c'è nulla di male nell'utilizzare riferimenti fotografici, ma più passa il tempo e più ho la sensazione che la ricerca mi faccia perdere tempo. Inoltre le fotografie hanno una resa differente perchè sono reali, quindi su carta devi comunque dare una interpretazione leggermente differente, aggiustare alcune distorsioni presenti nella realtà, date da prospettive o obiettivi delle macchine fotografiche. Mi sembra di avere maggiore confusione. Queste regole valgono per figure intere, non tanto per visi, mani o singole parti.
Per esempio il 90% delle natiche presenti sono disegnate a mente, e confesso che preferisco che ci sia qualche imperfezione anatomica, che tremila riferimenti e il triplo della fatica dietro. E' un controsenso perchè nel porno l'anatomia è tutto, e chiunque mi ha sempre consigliato tanti riferimenti fotografici, importantissimi per questo genere.
Questo nuovo fumetto mi ha fatto riflettere molto su quello che voglio ottenere dal mio stile, ma sono ancora in totale confusione!!. Forse la presenza di poche scene di sesso mi ha dato l'opportunità di fare varie prove, visto che la parte complicata del porno è proprio rendere i corpi realistici, morbidi in ogni parte,
